Welcome to the Brandon Township & Ortonville, MI CERT Program
Neighbors Helping Neighbors in Times of Need
The Brandon Township & Ortonville Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a group of trained volunteers dedicated to supporting our community during emergencies and disasters. Our mission is to enhance local preparedness, assist first responders, and provide critical aid when it’s needed most.
Through training and teamwork, CERT members learn essential disaster response skills such as basic medical aid, fire suppression, search and rescue, and
emergency preparedness. When disaster strikes, we step up to help bridge the gap before professional responders arrive, ensuring the safety and resilience of our community.
Our team also provides public education, supports local events, and assists in emergency situations such as severe weather incidents, search efforts, and disaster relief operations. Whether you’re looking to get involved, attend a training, or simply learn more about emergency preparedness, we’re here to help!
